Nature of EVTechGuard Inspections
Our inspectors evaluate the overall condition of a designated vehicle based on what is subjectively observable. Inspections are visual only — no hoists, tools, or dismantling. A test drive is attempted when valid state registration and current liability insurance or dealer tags are present. You will receive a hyperlink to the inspector's report and a package of photographs.

Service Limited to Inspection
EVTechGuard performs inspection services only. We are not affiliated with the seller and do not take a position on whether you should purchase the vehicle. We do not verify the seller's legal right to sell, and are not responsible for any representations made by the seller or any other party.
§ 03
Not an Insurance Policy or Warranty
An inspection does not act as a warranty or insurance policy for any vehicle. If you purchase the vehicle, you are fully responsible for all repair and maintenance costs. The decision to purchase remains your sole responsibility.
§ 04
Vehicle Remains "As Is"
All used vehicles are purchased "as is" unless otherwise warranted by the seller. A vehicle's condition may change between inspection and purchase — we recommend scheduling the inspection as close to purchase as possible. The EVTechGuard report is not a substitute for any safety or emissions inspection required by state law.
§ 05
Factors Affecting Inspections
Inspections may be affected by weather, lighting, and vehicle cleanliness. For the most accurate report, the vehicle must be clean, dry, and in a well-lit location. EVTechGuard strongly recommends contacting the seller in advance to ensure appropriate conditions.
§ 07
Limitation of Liability
All services are provided "as is, with all defects" without warranties of any kind. EVTechGuard's liability is limited to refunding the price paid for the inspection. In no event will EVTechGuard or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
§ 08
Cancellation Policy
Once your order is placed, all sales are final. EVTechGuard may decline to undertake the inspection, in which case your prepaid inspection fee will be promptly refunded. You cannot cancel your order for a refund once placed.
§ 10
Refund Policy After Report
If you believe there are inaccuracies in the inspection report, you must submit them by email to services@evtechguard.com within seven (7) days of report delivery, including photos and specific details. All submissions are reviewed at EVTechGuard's discretion given the complex mechanical nature of automobiles.
§ 06
Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Any dispute arising from these terms must be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association at a location of EVTechGuard's choosing in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial. Applicable law: State of Minnesota.

Privacy & Inspector Communications
EVTechGuard collects personal information only to carry out the service you purchased. We do not share your information with unaffiliated third parties unless required by law. You agree to communicate only through EVTechGuard — do not contact inspectors directly. Doing so may result in cancellation without refund.
